Those who camp together ... stay together.
My very first three tiered wedding cake went back to it's roots and showed up at the wedding of Jaimie and Scott as they tied the knot in classic woodland style at their childhood camp. Complete with sugarpaste acorns, pine cones, meringue mushrooms, birch bark and oak leaves, this cake polished off their rustic, yet elegant affair with three varieties of cake; chocolate with raspberry preserves and chocolate ganache, pistachio cake with vanilla bean buttercream, and vanilla, vanilla. These pictures were taken when the cake was just about finished but not yet put together which was done the following day at camp.
