Easter on parade

I made this cake to celebrate Easter with my family. The fondant is a reflection of the inside cake, a chocolate cake, topped with a strawberry cake.  I embellished the cut-outs with piped royal icing and finished the sides with a beautiful ribbon of freshly whipped buttercream.  I once again tried my hand at topping the cake off with a pretty white bow and one of my signature butterflies.  If this cake doesn’t say spring, I don’t know what does.
